Former Head of Legal at a state-owned enterprise.

Case

Al-Dur Phase II Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, Bahrain

  • Responsible for day-to-day contract administration of the project, including drafting correspondences and handling claim-related matters, including but not limited to variation claims, joint venture claims, subcontractor claims and counterclaims. The most representative case is the Extension of Time (EOT) claim arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saudi Red Sea Utility Project

  • Served as the Executive Lead of the Special Working Group for major claims, led and supervised the preparation of major claim reports covering pandemic-related claims, variation claims, insurance claims, etc., and participated in subsequent negotiations and dispute resolution proceedings.

Redstone Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Project, South Africa

  • Served as the Executive Lead of the Special Working Group for major claims, led and supervised the compilation of major claim reports including pandemic-related claims and variation claims, and took part in subsequent commercial negotiations and claim consultations.
