Winson Proposes “Overseas Bridgehead” Initiative to Hebei Delegation in Egypt

On July 5th, Chaochao Zhang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee, led a Shijiazhuang municipal delegation on a visit to Egypt, holding a discussion and exchange session with representatives of overseas Chinese communities in Egypt and heads of Chinese-invested enterprises. As a representative of an overseas legal services institution originating from Hebei, Ethen Gai, founder of Winson Law Offices, was invited to attend the discussion session, delivering a special address on topics including supporting Shijiazhuang enterprises in going global, attracting investment, and connecting international resources. The discussion session was organized by the Egyptian Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.

Secretary Chaochao Zhang stated that this visit aims to deeply implement General Secretary Xi's important discourse on high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, further deepen economic and trade cooperation, promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges, and work to expand high-level opening up to the outside world, providing an important guarantee for accelerating the construction of a modern, international, and beautiful provincial capital city. He sincerely welcomed overseas enterprises and overseas Chinese communities to actively promote and showcase Shijiazhuang, and to help bring more high-quality projects, capital, and talent to Shijiazhuang, so as to share development opportunities and jointly create a future of cooperation.In his address, Ethen Gai introduced that Winson Law Offices is headquartered in Dubai and has established directly-operated offices in multiple countries and regions across the Middle East and Africa, including Riyadh, Muscat, Baghdad, and Cairo. The Offices has an international professional team of nearly 200 people, has cumulatively served over 1,000 Chinese enterprises in their overseas expansion, and is currently the leading Chinese law firm in the Middle East and Africa region in terms of scale and network coverage.

As a native of Shijiazhuang, Ethen Gai remarked that this was his first time hosting a delegation from his hometown overseas, an experience that felt especially meaningful to him and one that he felt carried great responsibility. Regarding Shijiazhuang's high-level opening up to the outside world, Gai Sen put forward three cooperation proposals:

First, leveraging Winson's service network spanning the Middle East and Africa, to establish an overseas service station for Shijiazhuang enterprises going global, providing one-stop support in legal affairs, business operations, and investment implementation;

Second, drawing on Winson's accumulated resources with governments, chambers of commerce, and investment institutions across the Middle East and Africa, to help Shijiazhuang attract investment and facilitate the landing of more international capital and high-quality projects;

Third, actively promoting Shijiazhuang's and Hebei's distinctive agricultural products into Middle Eastern markets such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, helping Hebei brands go global.

At the close of his address, Ethen Gai made a solemn commitment on behalf of Winson Law Offices: "Winson is willing to serve as an overseas bridgehead for Shijiazhuang in the Middle East and Africa, bringing global resources back to Shijiazhuang, and taking Shijiazhuang's enterprises and products out into the world." Looking ahead, Winson will continue to leverage its global office network and international resource advantages to continuously support high-level opening up for Chinese local governments, contributing further Winson strength to Chinese enterprises' overseas expansion and international economic and trade cooperation.
