Winson Law Offices (Beijing) and UIBE Sign Legal Talent Training Agreement

On November 30, during the Seminar on Establishing an Integrated Overseas Service System in the Middle East, Beijing Winson Law Firm and the Law School of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) formally signed the Framework Agreement on Training Foreign-related Legal Talents. This signing marks a crucial step forward in the collaborative talent cultivation mechanism integrating university legal education resources and foreign-related legal practice platforms, blazing a new trail for the cultivation of China's foreign-related legal talents. The signing ceremony was attended and witnessed by Xiong Guangqing, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Law School of UIBE; Zhao Wenjie and Gai Sen, Founders of Winson; Nan Yixu, Director of Winson's Beijing Office; Xu Jinxu, Director of Winson's Saudi Office; and Zhang Haowen, Managing Partner of Winson's Dubai Office.

After the ceremony, Professor Xiong Guangqing delivered a keynote speech themed "Training of Foreign-related Legal Talents", expounding in depth the strategic significance of this cooperation for serving national opening-up and supporting Chinese enterprises' "going global" initiative.

The Law School of UIBE has a profound accumulation in cultivating foreign-related legal talents and has gradually developed a distinctive "UIBE Approach". Relying on its advantages in international law disciplines and tradition of professional education, the school takes international moot court competitions as an important platform for cultivating high-end legal talents. In recent years, law students of UIBE have repeatedly made breakthroughs in international competitions. For instance, they advanced to the global top 16 in the 32nd Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition, achieving the best result in the history of Chinese universities in this event.

This cooperation gives full play to UIBE's disciplinary and educational resources as well as Winson's overseas business network and practical experience, realizing complementary advantages and collaborative talent cultivation. It is not only a concrete measure to respond to the national strategy for cultivating foreign-related legal talents, but also provides a replicable example for the integration of industry and education in the legal field.

Going forward, the two parties will take the signing of the agreement as a starting point to further integrate resources, expand cooperation, and continuously inject new vitality into China's foreign-related legal talent pool. By constantly strengthening the talent cultivation chain, the two sides will jointly provide more solid and professional legal support for serving the country's high-level opening-up and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese-funded enterprises in the Middle East and global markets, contributing legal wisdom and strength to promoting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
