On May 13, Ethen Gai, founder of Winson Law Firm, and Jing Li, deputy director of the Legal and Compliance Management Department of China Power Construction Shandong Power Construction Third Company, visited Peking University Law School. Jiangnan Lu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University Law School, and Wanyu Li, Director of the Employment Guidance Office, attended the reception and held discussions.

During the symposium, Secretary Lu warmly welcomed the arrival of lawyer Gai and his delegation. He introduced the basic situation of Peking University Law School in combination with discipline construction, foreign-related legal talent training, academic research and social services. Lu said that Peking University Law School undertakes two national scientific research and teaching platforms, the school's foreign-related rule of law research base and the foreign-related rule of law talent collaborative training and innovation base. 2024 coincides with the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Peking University's law discipline. Winson Law Firm became the Peking University Law School in the Middle East.

Gai introduced the basic situation of Winson Law Firm, its business areas and the development of foreign-related legal services such as safeguarding the interests of Chinese-funded enterprises, and shared the judicial system of the United Arab Emirates and the training of foreign-related legal personnel. He said that since its establishment, Winson Law Firm has been focusing on legal topics and research cooperation with universities in China and the Middle East, and hopes to carry out all-around cooperation with Peking University in the research of law topics and the construction of foreign-related legal talent bases.
