Engaged in various international arbitration cases administered by CIETAC, HKIAC, ICC and other arbitral institutions, covering disputes over private equity exit, Sino-Japanese joint venture share repurchase, chip technology options and commercial disputes of foreign-invested joint ventures. Conducted legal research across jurisdictions including Mainland China, Japan, Hong Kong SAR and the BVI, drafted Chinese and English legal documents and organized case evidence. Took part in an ICC arbitration concerning sale of goods by proofreading arbitral awards, and carried out legal research on the COVID-19 force majeure defence for valuation adjustment mechanism disputes. Handled domestic civil and commercial litigations such as actions for confirmation of the validity of equity transfer contracts and private lending disputes, formulated cross-examination strategies for court hearings, drafted appellate documents and conducted bulk contract reviews.
