In 2024, Company M, a Dubai-based company controlled by Dubai Holdings, entered into an international vehicle sales contract with a China-registered Company L. Company Mmade a payment of USD 845,000 as agreed. After delivering half of the vehicles, Company L ceased further deliveries due to operational difficulties, leaving approximately USD 500,000 worth of goods undelivered. Following nearly eight months of unsuccessful negotiations, Company M retained Beijing Winson Law Firm.
After a comprehensive case assessment, Beijing Winson Law Firm completed a series of complex pre-litigation preparations through close collaboration between its Beijing and Dubai offices. The firm subsequently filed a lawsuit against Company L before a Chinesecourt. The case was heard on August 29, 2025, at the Jining High-tech Industrial Development Zone People's Court in Shandong Province. On the same day, the court issued a judicial instrument ordering the defendant to refund USD 465,000 to the claimant. The defendant has now fully complied with the obligations set forth in the court's instrument, and the entire refund amount has been recovered.
