Job Description
We provide cross-border legal, corporate, and business advisory services between China and the Middle East and Africa. As part of the expansion of our cross-border practice, we are seeking an Arabic-speaking Business Development Executive to develop clients and referral partners across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the wider MENA region.
The role will focus on identifying and developing business opportunities involving foreign companies and investors seeking to enter, invest in, operate in, or expand their business in China.
- Identify and develop prospective corporate clients, investors, entrepreneurs, and professional institutions across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and other MENA markets with actual or potential China-related business needs.
- Develop business opportunities relating to foreign investment into China, cross-border transactions, market entry, ongoing operations, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Build and maintain referral partnerships with professional institutions.
- Work with the China-based professional and delivery teams to prepare service proposals, quotations, preliminary project plans, and other client-facing materials, and follow up with prospective clients through engagement and payment.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reports, support Arabic-language webinars, events, market research, and promotional materials, and ensure a smooth handover of signed matters to the relevant delivery team.
- Monitor market developments and client demand in the MENA region and provide feedback to support the development of new China-related service offerings.
- Native or near-native Arabic, together with professional fluency in English; the ability to conduct independent business meetings in both languages is essential.
- At least three years of experience in B2B business development, sales, client acquisition, partnership development, or professional services marketing.
- UAE work experience and familiarity with at least two of the following markets: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or the wider MENA region.
- A demonstrable record of generating leads, developing client relationships, managing a sales pipeline, and closing professional service engagements.
- Experience in legal services, cross-border investment, investment promotion, or business consulting is preferred.
- An understanding of foreign investment, international business, or China-related commercial activities would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, coordination, and follow-up skills, with proficiency in LinkedIn outreach, email, telephone, WhatsApp, professional networking, and CRM-based sales management.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Law, Finance, International Relations, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory. Chinese-language ability is not required.
