Tsinghua Engineering Delegation Visits Winson Law Offices in Dubai

On August 3, Professor Niu Xiaojing, head of the Department of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering of Tsinghua University, appointed an associate professor, doctoral supervisor and current director of the Institute of Hydraulics, led a delegation of 14 teachers and students from the Department of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering, Weiyang Academy and Xingjian College to visit Winson Law Firm. Zhao Wenjie, founder of Winson, Zhang Haowen, managing partner, Guo Yaoyu, an engineering lawyer, and Chen Ailin, an intern lawyer at Cambridge University, participated in the discussion.

Professor Niu Xiaojing said that this exchange was sufficient and the discussion was profound, and everyone benefited a lot. It was very rare for teachers and students of Tsinghua University to see what they learned from the perspective of law and business environment. At the same time, Professor Niu proposed that the delegation should strengthen thinking, while improving the hard power of technology, increase the construction of legal soft power, and cultivate "engineering + legal" compound talents.

It is reported that overseas practice is a characteristic link and an important means for the training of undergraduates in the Department of Water Resources of Tsinghua University. The Saudi Arabia and UAE detachments plan to take the "Belt and Road" initiative, water resources, energy and other issues as the main line of practical research, aiming to conduct government exchanges, enterprise seminars, project visits, university visits, cultural interaction and other means.
